Kari Engelbarth is a Partner at the Helsinki office. He started his career as a teacher and ended his public sector career as Head master. In 1989 he joined Mercuri Urval as a consultant where he conducted numerous recruitment and selection projects, internal assessments, individual executive and team coachings, management audits and development projects both on local and international level. He contributed to the development of two new products relating to team coaching. In 2004 Kari was appointed as COO for the Baltic countries managing the Mercuri Urval offices in Tallinn, Riga and Vilnius and in 2007 he worked at Mercuri in Singapore office. Besides executive search, Kari will focus on executive coaching, management audits and leadership development projects. Kari is well known from bridge tournaments and has successfully been competing in Finnish championships. He is also a fanatic ornithologist. Kari is fluent in Finnish, German, English and Swedish.
