Biography
Ms. Goodhew brings a strong blend of industry and advisory experience and has held several executive roles in the FTSE 100. She has worked with clients in a variety of industries, including retail, consumer goods and financial services in both the public and private sector, delivering large scale transformation and significant cost reduction programs, often in tough turnaround situations.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Goodhew spent three years as a Transformation Director with Lloyd’s Banking Group, where she led a complex digital/agile operating model transition involving 20,000+ colleagues and the operationalization of the advanced analytics strategy. Prior to that, she was Transformation Director for Sainsbury’s, plc where she led the CEO’s multi-year transformation program that generated top and bottom-line value of £750 million over three years. She was also Business Development Director for Sainsbury’s, with full P&L and strategic responsibility for the joint venture portfolio.
Previously, Ms. Goodhew spent more than 10 years in Australia, where she was General Manager Group Strategy for the Coles Retail Group and Retail and Consumer Industries Lead Partner for AT Kearney ANZ. She started her career in the U.K. in retail supply chain operations, where she led large scale DC and logistics operations for Gist, the 3pl that ran the Marks and Spencer Supply Chain.
Ms. Goodhew earned a bachelor’s degree (honours) in international supply chain from Cardiff University and distinction from MIT Sloan School of Management for the deployment of artificial intelligence for business strategy. She is a Non-Executive Director for British Land, the FTSE 100 property REIT and a member of its Nomination, ESG and Remco committees.
