Biography
Tim started his career in recruitment after 12+ years in FMCG sales across Foodservice & Grocery, spanning 9 categories and leading multiple functions. Since his move to recruitment 2 years ago, he has built upon his early career experience to lead the u&u FMCG practice nationally. Tim hosts a quarterly FMCG leaders round table, u&unplugged, which brings together senior FMCG Sales Executives to discuss challenges and industry trends. Tim’s competitive advantage in the market is that he recruits roles utilising his intimate understanding of how these positions contribute to the total sales effort of an organisation. This capability has led to five previous direct reports or colleagues retaining Tim to manage assignments for them. Having built out sales and category teams nationally across FMCG; food, liquor, OTC pharma, beverage, non-food, electronics and CPG, Tim has quickly established himself as a trusted name in FMCG recruitment. This close touch and ear to the ground approach facilitates him producing surveys of what’s happening in FMCG and bi-annual salary and market updates.
