Gorby Nguyen is a director in the Firm’s Advisory Services Practice and is based in Houston, Texas. Mr. Nguyen is well-versed in valuation services, financial modeling, and middle-market M&A advisory. He has advised companies ranging from small, family-owned businesses to large Fortune 100 companies on various valuation issues.

Mr. Nguyen has helped clients navigate valuation issues relating to financial reporting and tax reporting requirements, pre-deal M&A pricing, financial forecast due diligence, litigation and other matters.

Being based in Houston, Mr. Nguyen has developed great expertise in the energy industry, including oil and gas, power generation (renewables or fossil fuels), and refining and marketing. He also has extensive experience working with companies in the technology, waste management, real estate, and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Nguyen joined Marcum in 2020. Previously, he worked for other middle-market accounting firms, independent consulting firms, and was with a Big 4 firm prior to joining Marcum.
