Based out of the San Francisco office, Tessa is a member of True's Go-to-Market (GTM) practice where she leads C-suite and VP level B2B searches for high-growth VC, PE and public companies. Prior to joining True, Tessa worked for six years in executive search, successfully completing numerous GTM searches for high-growth startups across a broad range of technology verticals. Before executive search, Tessa held GTM operational roles for 12 years in edtech at McGraw Hill & Pearson Education in sales, marketing and as a senior product manager (directly responsible for $25M P&L) and senior director of product and digital strategy (right-hand lieutenant of GM - $300M BU). Tessa graduated from Northwestern University. After graduating she joined Teach For America as a math and science teacher, providing equitable education in underserved communities in NYC and SF. Outside of work you can find Tessa enjoying life with her husband, Alan, and her two year old son, Pete.
