Based in London, Ben leads Stevenson’s business in the UK and across Europe, working closely with the executive leadership team to support our clients at a global level. He brings over 15 years’ experience in Life Sciences executive search specializing in Venture Capital and growth-stage Biotech. Prior to joining Stevenson, Ben built and led the Life Sciences practice at a multi-sector, international boutique search firm in London. Whilst he’s worked across a range of functional disciplines including CEO, COO, CFO, CBO, and CMO, Ben has always been particularly fascinated by the financing and partnering side of the industry, having built up a strong network of investors and dealmakers on both sides of the Atlantic. Ben studied Law at the University of Sheffield and initially worked for a specialist law firm before entering the world of executive search in 2010. Outside of work, Ben is a huge sports fan – mostly rugby(long-retired), football (lifelong Chelsea fan) and golf (an ongoing love/hate relationship). He enjoys spending time with his wife, young daughter and golden retriever and trekking around the Scottish Highlands in search of new single malt whiskies.
