Alex Williams has worked in executive search since 2000. He joined Sainty, Hird & Partners in April 2020, having previously run the Equities practice at Pelham International from 2002 to 2020. He started his career in executive search at The Rose Partnership in 2000. In the 20 years that Alex has covered equities, he has worked across all areas within the front office – with a particular focus on research, sales and trading in both cash (high and low touch) and derivatives. He has been responsible for multiple team moves and has worked with a number of the leading banks to help build and develop their teams across the UK and Europe. Having placed over 400 people within equities, searches successfully worked on include Global Head of Research, EMEA Head of Equities, Head of Listed Derivatives, Head of Corporate Equity Derivatives and numerous other functional roles.
