Rob is originally from Darlington in the North East of England. He graduated in business management and started his career in recruitment in 2006, initially working as a researcher for a boutique executive search company in the UK and then progressing into a consultant role. He emigrated to Australia in 2007 taking a role with Hays Recruitment specialising within the engineering and construction space. Since joining ACRWORLD in 2010 Rob has focussed on recruiting within the domestic and international power markets. He works across the value chain and has a strong track record of investment, development, engineering, construction and operations and maintenance of power assets. Rob’s passion is renewable energy. Since 2008 he has been an active member of the Australian renewable energy market, placing people who make a real difference to Australia’s clean energy future. He has developed partnerships with some of the most influential players within the market reaching preferred supplier / go to recruiter status. Outside of work Rob most enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children which certainly keep him on his toes! He is also an avid cricket fan and looks forward to the bi-annual Ashes battles with relish.
