Biography
Alexis is an Associate with search experience in the life sciences specifically in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. She brings a strong attention to detail in search execution and over five years of experience working at the intersection of science and people in science communication.
Prior to joining LifeSci Search, Alexis was a Senior Recruiter for Korn Ferry, where she specialized in internal talent acquisition as well as collaborated with the life sciences executive search practice. Previous to her work at Korn Ferry, she worked at a boutique firm where she helped to build out the preclinical vertical while also executing search engagements across later stages of clinical development. She has an affinity for preclinical R&D roles but enjoys working across a diverse range of executive management functions.
Holding a Master's degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Bioethics, Policy, and Law from Arizona State University, she brings scientific understanding and expertise to all of her search engagements. Because her degree program sat under the university’s Department of Biology and Society, much of her research united complex biotechnology advancements with their resulting societal implications. Some of her research interests include regenerative biology and synthetic biology.
Before entering executive search, Alexis worked in science communication. She served as a Senior Editor for an open-access reproductive medicine encyclopedia and consulted on healthcare content marketing production for a nationally recognized advertising agency.
