Alberto Bocchieri is a Partner, Co-Head of Iberia and Latin America and the Head of the Global Board Services Practice Group at Pedersen & Partners. Mr. Bocchieri joined Pedersen & Partners in 2011, simultaneously with the opening of the firm’s Madrid office. Prior to this, he has served as a Partner for Spain and Italy for a leading international Executive Search firm. His extensive professional experience includes several positions as board member and senior manager in listed companies, banking institutions, regulatory and supervisory bodies and served in multilateral organization such as the European Union at the start of his career. He directed big scale projects in the financial restructuring field, strategic communications, investors engagement and corporate affairs. Mr. Bocchieri has a wide experience of more than a decade in search focusing on Board level and C-suite positions both in developed and emerging markets. His main areas of expertise include Banking and Financial Services -asset management, wealth management and rating agencies-, Professional Advisory Services, Private Equity, Energy, Infrastructure, Real Estate, and Hospitality. Aside of general management positions, he specializes on corporate governance sensitive assignments such as financial, legal and compliance, auditing, risk, regulation and supervision, serving in large listed corporations, family-owned business or privately-held companies. Mr. Bocchieri is a Cum Laude Graduate in Economy and Business Administration from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. He holds a PADE (Programa de Alta Dirección de Empresas) at IESE Business School and a GSMP (Global Senior Management Program) at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and IE Business School. He is bilingual in Italian and Spanish and speaks fluently English and French.
