David leverages over 25 years of experience as an executive search professional in advising clients and coaching candidates. At Chasm, David works with VC and PE-backed clients across a variety of verticals, including health tech, health services, digital health, value-based care, and behavioral health, among others. David’s deep functional expertise is a driver behind the quality of his placements at the Board, C-suite, and VP levels. He believes that top talent in key functional areas like sales, marketing, operations, finance, and engineering will be necessary for growing companies in this space to not only win the sprint but keep pace in the marathon. Prior to joining Chasm Partners, David specialized in retained search focused, PE-backed, healthcare services companies at Ross & Company. Earlier in his career, he served in several senior recruiting roles at Lindsey & Company and O’Keefe & Partners, where he specialized in the recruitment of senior marketing, sales and general management executives. He brings experience having worked directly with senior leaders at clients ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies, while also partnering with Private Equity and Venture Capital clients including Francisco Partners, Warburg Pincus, Summit Partners, Zenyth Partners, the Beekman Group, Enhanced Equity Partners, Silversmith Capital, Insight Partners, and OAK HC/FT, among others. David graduated from Babson College with a BS in Management and was a two-time All-American in Ice Hockey. He is an active investor and a Limited Partner in a number of funds focused on healthcare technology and services. He lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife and two children and enjoys ice hockey, boating, fishing, golfing and hitting the beach. He is an active member in the Catholic Club, Roxbury Club, and Fayerweather Yacht club. He still enjoys playing hockey in a men’s league and maintains his Level 4 coaching certification.
