Hagen is a seasoned Executive Search and Governance Advisory consultant who specializes in highly confidential C-Level Executive and Board/Non-Executive searches across all industry sectors. He is driving Eric Salmon’s board search and board assessment activities in Germany and Switzerland. A major part of his work is the recruitment and evaluation of Non-Executive Board Directors. He is a Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) in Brussels and has published several whitepapers on Blockchain and Corporate Governance, Non-Executive Directors in fast-growing technology companies and on Corporate Governance in Iran. Hagen is a Member of the Board of Directors of INSEAD International Directors Network and currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee as well as a Member of the Nomination and Governance Committee. He is a speaker and panelist for topics related to board matters and Corporate Governance, most recently in Belgium, Bulgaria, India, Lithuania, Romania and Armenia. Hagen was educated at the University of Oxford, where he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from Saïd Business School, took part in the High-Performance Leadership Programme (HPLP), and at INSEAD, where he completed the International Directors Programme (IDP-C).
