Biography
I work with charities and not for profits to help them shape their strategies, evidence and analyse their impact and win contracts. A particular speciality is helping ventures to describe the difference they make and how (their theory of change) then to reflect on what this means for them strategically and measurement-wise. I’ve worked with a rich mix of clients, ranging from community associations and environmental charities to homelessness charities and housing associations to theatre groups and youth organisations. I came to charity consulting after roles as a Whitehall civil servant and as director of two national charities, having previously flirted with academia. I am a non-executive director at EP, also bringing first-hand experience as trustee of two young charities.
