Biography
As a co-founder of Peregrine Group, Larry Loubet’s expertise encompasses virtually all functional areas of the real estate industry. He has completed assignments in debt and equity finance, real estate services, property and asset management, leasing, development, construction, accounting, information technology, corporate real estate, operations and management consulting. His success is evidenced by his ability to fulfill client hiring needs throughout the country for positions as diverse as managing director-corporate real estate services, partner-client capital marketing, managing director-client accounting, president-property management, managing director-capital markets, vice president and national director-capital markets, principal-DUS finance, and chief information officer. Prior to Peregrine Group, Larry spent 22 years with Carlyle Group ultimately co-managing the national real estate practice. Additionally, Larry spent the prior six years as a psychotherapist treating individuals and families for a family service and community mental health center. He is active with a variety of professional real estate organizations, including the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Larry has a BA in history and psychology from Rutgers University and an MA in social service administration from the University of Chicago.
