James joined the RDW team in mid-2019 to lead the firm's efforts in digital transformation. He had previously worked with RDW briefly in 2016 as Head of Research; rejoining in 2019 as a senior consultant, and worked his way up to principal in under a year. James has a deep understanding of the technology ecosystem and a network of senior executives across leading big tech and consulting firms. Since joining RDW, James has completed searches at all levels (including the C-suite) and assisted in large team buildouts across the technology practices of large services firms and go-to-market teams of product companies. James' Story James began his career as a consultant assisting law firms with federal trial preparation. He first dipped his feet in executive search with RDW in 2016 – and worked for a year researching analytics and emerging technologies. He then took a brief hiatus from the firm, working with Access Staffing and Adam-Bryce – continuing to develop his expertise in the technology and professional services fields. During this time, James assisted in building a net-new Cloud Engineering team at a major global consultancy and building the entire Asia-Pacific go-to-market team – including Regional GM & Country Managers for an already well-established FinTech.
