After several years in executive search, Jane was convinced that clients deserved and would benefit from a more high-touch, customized, and rigorous approach to executive search. In 2011 she founded OverNorth. Her practice expertise spans senior general management, HR, private equity, operations, and supply chain management. Jane developed her search expertise at Ray & Berndtson (now Odgers Berndtson), a global executive search firm. During her 20+ years in executive search, Jane has developed a reputation for listening to the client and consistently presenting culturally on-target, top-caliber candidates. She has a proven track record of performing exemplary search work, validated through her ongoing repeat business with long-term clients. Her blend of senior executive search and business management experience serves her especially well as she digs to uncover clients' expectations and candidates' motivations. Jane's pre-search experience includes 16 years of general management, sales, and operations experience in the logistics and transportation industries. She held general manager and sales director positions at Burlington Northern Railroad. Previously, she was vice president of sales and operations of a national motor carrier. Jane holds a BA degree from Coe College. She relaxes with a fast walk, a stint at the piano, or a visit to the family farm in Iowa – the original OverNorth.
