Biography
Mr. Kamins has deep expertise around organizational strategy and culture, talent management, employee and physician engagement, diversity and inclusion, and change management. Mr. Kamins often works with companies undergoing a significant change in their leadership/organizational structure or facing other disruptive changes to their business or operating model. These are companies where the culture is in flux, and where new models, practices and people strategies are often required. Mr. Kamins works with clients to help define the new models, then consults with them to ensure that the necessary role definitions, information and process flow, compensation and rewards, and organizational and team structures are in place to support the new models. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Kamins spent fifteen years at Gallup, where he was a leader in both the firm's Healthcare and Industrial Practices. Previously, Mr. Kamins was with McKinsey & Company, where his work included assessing growth strategies for new businesses and markets and identifying ways for clients to streamline operations and reduce costs through internal process improvements. Mr. Kamins is a frequently published author and speaker. His recent articles include: Four Rules for Successful Change Management, How to Make Training a Catalyst for Real Change, 3 Daily Actions that Set the Tone for Workplace Culture. Mr. Kamins also wrote What Too Many Hospitals Are Overlooking, on the importance of physician engagement in healthcare systems. Kamins received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Northwestern University. He also holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles.
