Veerle Vastmans is an Associate Partner at the Brussels office of Stanton Chase. She is a member of the executive search firm’s Professional Services and Consumer Goods and Services global practice groups. Veerle has over 20 years of experience in HR consultancy, having held senior roles within various HR services groups. She has seven years of experience in executive interim management, both on a domestic and international level, across different industries. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Veerle was Partner Flexible Resources within BDO Belgium, responsible for all temporary flexible staffing solutions including executive interim management and finance and accounting outsourcing. She was also Chairwoman of the interim management board within the industry federation Federgon. Veerle has a multi-industry background with a key focus on assignments in the area of general management, finance, HR, supply chain, operations, sales and marketing, and change and transformation. She is also a Mentor at Birdhouse, helping several startups to blossom into scale-ups with a particular focus on organizational models, process optimizations, and business development. Veerle holds a master’s degree in applied economics from the Erasmus Hogeschool Brussels and human resources management from the Ehsal Management School Brussels. She is also a Certified Insights Discovery Practitioner, Certified Career Coach, Certified Stress & Burnout Coach, and Certified Prosci Adkar Change Practitioner. In her spare time, Veerle enjoys traveling with her family, catching up with friends over a good glass of Italian wine, and playing golf.
