Robin was born in the Achterhoek and grew up in Friesland in a family where all kinds of things were always talked and discussed at the dinner table. This was done with a lot of confidence, openness and a critical eye. He takes this into account in his work for Whyz. Since childhood, Robin had a broad interest and an intrinsic motivation to research and learn. Today, this translates into great social involvement with special interests in technological, scientific and digital developments and social entrepreneurship. For Robin, one of the most important questions is not what you want to become, but who you already are. His choice of study for the social sciences (psychology, anthropology and sociology) was therefore mainly inspired by what he wanted to understand better and not by what he wanted to become. For Whyz's clients, Robin searches for future leaders who share the openness to new ideas, see the power of kindness and have the courage to look at their environment through sharp glasses. Due to his long work experience in the hospitality industry, but also as a sea sailor, Robin knows the great importance of working in a team and he knows how important everyone's role and position in a team is to achieve an optimal result.
