Jacob is the co-Head of the Healthcare practice at True. He works with a range of VC and PE investors to build dynamic leadership teams at companies operating in the value-based care and innovative care delivery space, with a focus on digital health and tech-enabled service providers. He is most drawn to entrepreneurs and leaders committed to making an impact for people and communities through their work and investments. Prior to True, Jacob spent the first 10+ years of his career building companies in the private and social sectors. He worked across the technology and healthcare practice areas as a consultant at The Beacon Group before joining the portfolio team at EMCF—a social venture philanthropy committed to investing in scalable, mission-driven organizations in healthcare, education, workforce and others. Most recently, as a director at Oxeon partners, Jacob led the growth of the firm’s West Coast search team Jacob has a Bachelor of Arts degree in government and legal studies from Bowdoin College and a Master of Education with a focus in entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania, as part of a joint School of Education/Wharton program.
