Alexander de Freitas has spent the last decade in China, working within Executive Search for the last seven years. Alexander has supported his clients, ranging from Fortune 500’s to family-owned enterprises, with leadership solutions and cross-border talent acquisition primarily in the Consumer and Technology sectors. He is a featured speaker on the topic of Digital Talent and other HR topics. Alexander is also an active member of the European business community in China, currently serving as the Chairman of the Election Committee of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China. He has been a Partner with Signium Greater China since March 2020. Alexander was born in Sweden but also holds a citizenship in Trinidad & Tobago. He studied business at the Gothenburg University of Business, Economics, & Law, and later Chinese at Fudan University. Alexander is fluent in English and Swedish, with professional proficiency in Mandarin, Danish, and Norwegian. He enjoys sports and the outdoors, among which he especially enjoys tennis, fencing, and sailing.
