Kate Latham is a Senior Managing Director with Teneo’s People Advisory business, based in London. With a 20-year track record in helping consumer companies to strengthen and diversify their leadership team, Kate leads the Consumer practice of Teneo People Advisory, UK. With a focus on C-suite and board appointments across retail, leisure, hospitality, consumer brands and FMCG businesses, Kate advises Chairs, Boards and CEOs on identifying the capability needed in a rapidly changing consumer landscape. Kate works with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from publicly quoted organisations to family-owned multi-generational businesses to private equity backed growth ventures. She is a passionate promoter of diversity and equality in the workplace and has helped ‘career mentor’ a number of high potential next generation leaders. Kate honed her skills working for a select collection of corporate and boutique firms, latterly running her own business. During this time, Kate has not only built up a strong network, but also a reputation for her rigorous, questioning approach and honest appraisals.
