Biography
With 10 years of professional experience, Mr. Ongun has a passion for accelerating talent across organizations. While this passion has fueled his work in leadership assessment and development, it has crystalized in the area of diversity and inclusion where he coordinated the D&I community of Korn Ferry in EMEA. Mr. Ongun's experience spans across a broad range of industries including public, finance, industrials, and technology. ‘Organizational & people agility' and ‘design thinking' are other key themes in Ongun work with clients. His consulting experience includes assessing, training, coaching and developing leaders. He has delivered work to diverse clients in defining competencies/success profiles, designing and conducting assessment centres, integrating talent analytics, designing and facilitating development roadmaps. Mr. Ongun is a TEDx speaker, serves as a board member for European Federation for Intercultural Learning (EFIL), and is a member of AFS Qualified Trainers and Cultural Detective Facilitators. He also is a founding member of NOW (nowornow.org), an interdisciplinary platform based in Switzerland aiming to accelerate social change towards inclusion, social justice, and equity. Mr. Ongun holds a BA degree in business from Bogazici University (Turkey) and MA degree in strategic communication management from Galatasaray University (Turkey). He served as a faculty member in universities in Turkey and France; and did research and delivery on multicultural teams at Reed College (USA) and Karlschochshule (Germany). Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ongun worked in education, public and startup industries and led global teams on community management and organizational development.
