Steven Haug is a Managing Director at ECA Partners where he works with clients to fill executive positions with top talent and helps companies solve immediate business needs by deploying top-tier consultants for freelance and project support. Before joining ECA, Steven was a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California, Santa Cruz where he instructed advanced undergraduate courses and conducted research on 20th-century German philosophy of art. At ECA, Steven works with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to fill senior finance roles, M&A leadership roles, and operations leadership roles. Steven holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a BA in Philosophy and History.
