Biography
Marie-Pierre Rogers leads Spencer Stuart’s Board Practice in Switzerland and is a member of the firm’s global Industrial and Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices. She focuses on C-level roles and non-executive positions in the technology and industrial spaces. She also specializes in the travel, transportation and logistics sectors. Marie-Pierre previously led the Supply Chain Practice, which also encompasses procurement and operations, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Marie-Pierre brings more than 20 years of experience in the service sector to her role. She began her career in operational and general management positions at DHL, before becoming vice president for Southern Europe at FedEx. She then joined Citibank’s headquarters in Brussels as head of operations and technology for EMEA. In 2000, Marie-Pierre was appointed CEO of CPGmarket.com, a Geneva-based venture aimed at optimizing supply chain activities through an Internet platform used by some of the largest players in the world of consumer packaged goods. Before entering the executive search industry, Marie-Pierre was regional director of Europe for the International Air Transport Association, where she was responsible for the financial compensation activities between airlines, travel agents and other service companies operating in passenger and freight transportation. She led and implemented a number of major technology projects for the industry, including the introduction of e-ticketing. She also focused on the development of financial services activities in the major Eastern European countries, enabling IATA to expand in markets such as Russia and Ukraine. Marie-Pierre holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish and understands conversational Italian.
