Finatal was founded in 2010 by David Rooney, a veteran of the executive recruitment sector with board level experience working for private equity-owned businesses. Working closely with private equity on M&A in the sector revealed a gap in the market for a search business that identified and delivered elite CFOs who would be fully aligned with the time-bound, pressurised nature of PE ownership. The business today employs 35 people working on mandates for all types of PE houses and their portfolio businesses across the UK and Europe. Over the past 12 months year we successfully completed over 160 mandates for PE firms and their portfolio businesses.
