Thomas Muhmenthaler is Managing Partner, co-owner, and founder of Viavanta. He has over 25 years of experience in executive search, focusing on management and board positions across various industries. Together with Thomas Suter, he invented and established the Multiple Search Initiative, which underscores Viavanta's unique positioning as a pioneer in recruitment in Switzerland. Before founding Viavanta in 2016, he headed a well-known Swiss executive search firm and held leading positions in international sports, FMCG and retail companies. As a member of the Institute Council of Kestria, an association of boutique executive search firms in more than 40 countries with more than 600 consultants, he contributes to Allianz's successful and sustainable positioning. He is also a member of the global "Consumer & Retail" practice group and has been supporting his clients with his expertise as a trusted insider for years. Thomas is married, the father of two daughters, and holds a bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing. He has relocated to Davos and can be found practicing various sports in the mountains.
