C.J. Jacques-Schufford is a Principal at Bespoke, supporting executive searches across both the Go-to-Market and CEO practices. Based in Austin, Texas, he joins the firm in July 2025 after earning his MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business. Before Bespoke, C.J. served as a Residential Community Director at Southern Methodist University, where he led recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development for over 250 undergraduate students. C.J. brings a strong background in people operations, talent engagement, and organizational development. He has served on university-wide hiring committees and built scalable training programs for both student and professional staff. He thrives in roles where he can connect with others, solve problems, and build community through intentional strategy. In addition to his MBA, C.J. holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education from Texas Christian University and a BA in Psychology from the University of North Texas. Outside of work, C.J. is a devoted Dallas sports fan, podcast enthusiast, and content creator. When he’s not watching Cowboys games or building something new, you’ll find him spending time with his wife Jackie, their son Kyrie, and their two energetic dogs, Frida and Basquiat.
