When I first finished University with a degree that has no obvious career path (hello a BA in English and Media studies) I applied for a job in a contact centre that was setting up shop in Wellington to sell power. Part of the interview process was a half day assessment centre run by a recruitment agency, and I thought, that would be a cool job, I reckon I could do that. 2 years later, I moved to London with the intention of becoming a recruiter and that was that. 10 years later and I am still in recruitment and love it. What drives me is a people-first, partnership-led approach. I believe successful placements go beyond matching skills to job descriptions — they’re about long-term fit, cultural alignment, and shared ambition.
