Biography
Paul recruits regulatory compliance, conduct risk and financial crime professionals for insurance organisations, predominantly within the London market. His clients include Lloyd’s brokers, managing agencies, MGA’s, Insuretechs, insurers and the insurance divisions of major consultancy firms. He is fascinated by the history of Lloyd’s of London and has appeared on several insurance related podcasts in the UK and the United States, during which he spoke about some of the more unusual risks to be covered in the market.
These include appearances on ‘Insurance Covered’, during which he discussed insurance recruitment, some historical stories from Lloyd’s and the insurance of RMS Titanic. Paul is also a trustee of the Insurance Museum and has written articles on insurance history for various London Market groups and for insurance press such as Post Magazine and advised national newspapers on the history of insurance for published articles.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys sport and has been punishing himself since a young age by following West Ham United. Over recent years, he has been teaching himself about art which means that he’s spending an increasing amount of time at weekends wandering around galleries.
